SUMMER FUN DANCE CAMPS 2010

Theatre Camp (Acting Technique Camp):
June 28th – July 3rd (10 am – 1 pm) $150
Rising grades 5th - 8th. Week includes intensive study of acting technique, monologue studies, improvisation, scene study, theatre history & basic Shakespeare, memorization, performance techniques, theatre etiquette,
landing the part (auditions) & lots of theatre games.
Theatre Camp (Acting 101 Camp) - 3 DAYS!:
June 28th – June 30th (2:30 pm – 4 pm) $70
Rising 2nd - 5th graders. Intensive study of acting technique, monologues, + Me, improvisation, scene study, memorization, performance techniques & theatre etiquette, landing the part (auditions) & lots of theatre games.
Musical Theatre Camp:
July 5th – 9th (10 am – 2 pm) $200
Rising 3rd - 8th graders. Children work together to put on a Broadway style Musical to be performed at the end of the week. Week includes workshops in: Music Theatre technique, “How to Audition for a Musical”, team building, backstage etiquette, musical theatre history, sight reading, acting for the song.
(for Theatre camps: Dually enrolled students receive up to $40 off total. Sign up by May 15th, 2010 and receive $10 off tuition!)
Princess Camp:
July 12th – July 16th (10 am – 12 pm) $125, ages 3-8
Calling all Princesses!!! This is your week to shine. We will have daily craft projects, story time and Ballet, Tap and Jazz techniques. We will have a visit from a real life Princess during the week! We will perform a “mini” show on Friday after our pizza party! Pack water and a light lunch M - Th.
Ballet Intensive II & III:
July 19th – 23rd (1 pm – 4 pm) $150 (see Miss Heather for level appropriateness)
Join Miss Heather for an intensive training in the art of Ballet. Students will master varying difficulties of Ballet and begin pre-Pointe work. Those en Pointe will continue mastering the skill.
Ballet Intensive Level I & II:
July 26th – 30th (10 am – 1 pm) $130 (see Miss Heather for age appropriateness)
Join Miss Heather for an exciting Ballet experience. Learn many new Ballet techniques and master the old. Excellent introductory session for those wanting to start mastering the art of Ballet.
DIVA camp:
August 9th – 13th (10 am – 12 pm) $130, ages 5 – 10
You’ve got that look! Come share it with us. We will be working on hair, make-up and having daily craft projects. Study and learn dances in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical. We will have a “mini” show on Friday after our pizza party! Please pack water and a light lunch M - Th.
CHEER camp:
August 16th – 20th (12 pm – 2 pm) $100, ages 5 – 12
Introduction to cheerleading and cheer dance. Learn all the right moves to cheer on your favorite team! Please pack a water and light snack.
(Dance camps: receive $10 off your camp when you register by May 20th)
