Headshot of Donna May

Donna May

Instructor

From the tender age of three, dance has been the rhythm of her life. It was the stage that first captured her heart, with the spotlight as her companion and the applause as her motivation. Performing was not just an act; it was her very essence, until the day she stepped into a new role--that of a teacher. Guiding little ballerinas through their first steps, she witnessed the pure magic in their eyes--a reflection of her own passion. This transformative experience redirected her path, and for over forty years, Mrs. May has had the privilege of nurturing the next generation of dancers. Life's dance took her to the scenic expanses of Fauquier County, where her personal and professional lives harmonized. Though her love for dance remained undiminished, she chose to attune her teaching hours to the melody of family life, cherishing moments with her beloved husband, Ken, and their children. Today, she is elated to continue her journey with For A Dancer Inc, where she shares the timeless joy of dance with eager students. Each class is a testament to a life well-lived and a passion that endures, a dance that never truly ends.
